I spent the morning at the National Elk Refuge looking for bighorn sheep on Miller Butte. I spotted a few bighorns at a distance, but nothing presented itself as a worthy photo opportunity. As I was beginning my journey home, the sunlight hit the Miller Ranch Home beautifully, leaving me a photo opportunity.

From there, the naked cottonwood tree on the left caught my eye as well.

The clouds lined up above the tree and my photo opportunity presented itself and I took it. Not the day I was planning, but a good day nevertheless.
