I was thinking outside the box today as I submitted three photographs to the Idaho Falls Art Council for their 16th Annual National Juried Exhibition, March 14, 2024 to June 2, 2024. I went with two cloud pictures and a frozen river picture. I usually don’t showcase these types of works often, but with the Jackson Hole Art Festival submission deadline right around the corner, I wanted to test the competition early.

Light Bulb-The summer of 2023 brought numerous thunderstorms here to Teton County, Idaho. Which I was fortunate to catch the cloud illuminating.

Thunderhead. A large thunderhead floated over Teton County, Idaho.

Ice Flow along the Gros Ventre River. The picture I submitted is more of an abstract, to me anyway. My thought was to see what the public opinion would be. Stepping outside of the box.
