Profile
Profile of a bison, Yellowstone National Park. This big guy was resting on the side of the trail. He caught me off guard. Be aware of your surroundings.

Yearling Bison
Yearling bison. I have been torn between these two pictures…one looking at me head on and the other… and this one looking at me with his right eye. Yearlings moving through single file.

Bull Bison
Bull Bison This picture really turned out to be a minimalist picture. Everyone following the boss.

Eye of the…
Eye of the bison. This bull walked right by my truck and I didn’t want to make eye contact with him.

Moose Along…
Moose along Cottonwood Creek. One of me haunts to look for moose. A nice looking bull moose. Scratching his antlers among the shrubbery. One last look before he went about his business.

Bighorn Sheep…
As I was moving along Miller Butte, I encountered a band of bighorn sheep. I had been waiting for them to return to their winter grounds, but we have had a very mild winter so far and they returned later than normal this year. Regal Pose. Walking right by me. Always nice to see them back.
