As I was photographing the Grand Tetons, five cow elk migrated through on the sagebrush flats(foreground). As the snow melts, the elk will migrate to their traditional birthing grounds and summer ranges.

Along with elk and bison, there is a herd of bighorn sheep that hangout by Miller Butte on the National Elk Refuge.
