Hoar Frost
A few cold mornings and the hoar frost was wet and heavy. Along the Gros Ventre River Willows encased with hoar frost. Cottonwood Trees and Sagebrush encased with hoar frost.

Maggy Hiltner has selected my Artwork entitled “Thunderhead Over Teton County, Idaho” for inclusion in the 2024 National Juried Exhibition at the Wllards Art Center. Moose Along…
Moose along Cottonwood Creek. One of me haunts to look for moose. A nice looking bull moose. Scratching his antlers among the shrubbery. One last look before he went about his business.

Bridger-Teton…
Bridger-Teton National Forest. Snow On the Hillside. Clouds above the Gros Ventre River. The snow covered area directly above the river, is where the Gros Ventre Slide occurred.

Bighorn Sheep…
As I was moving along Miller Butte, I encountered a band of bighorn sheep. I had been waiting for them to return to their winter grounds, but we have had a very mild winter so far and they returned later than normal this year. Regal Pose. Walking right by me. Always nice to see them back.

Portraits…
Portraits of mule deer that I encountered migrating along the Gros Ventre River. He was the smallest one of the group. A bigger buck checking me out. He was the biggest buck of the herd, with his buddy trailing behind. Definitely a mature buck. My last pic as he walked by me.
